SBaA participated in the Visegrad 4 Business conference in Bratislava

Representatives of the Slovak Battery Alliance (SBaA) took part in the important conference Visegrad 4 Business, organized by the Council of Slovak Exporters with its partner organizations from the V4 countries. Maros Sefcovic, European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, spoke at the conference and reported on current trade issues and the European Union's relations with the USA and some other countries. In his speech and answers, he also touched upon the energy sector and its importance for the key automotive industry.

"Meetings like the one in Bratislava on Tuesday are particularly important at this very turbulent stage, where the public and private sectors need to communicate as often as possible so that together we can find solutions to the challenges ahead," the EU Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security told at a press briefing during the Visegrad 4 Business conference. The

Commissioner also underlined that while the United States accounts for as much as 13 percent of world trade, there is another 87 percent that the EU is also focusing on. He added that he is also currently negotiating with countries such as India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.
